Leaf Peepin'

I'm very thankful that I have had a ton of free time to really enjoy the leaves this Fall. 

I guess most years I notice them on my commute, or walking Bleaker, but this year I have really reveled in their beauty.

The golds and the purples are my favs. 

Anywho, I took a trip to Mom's last week and went "leaf peepin" with her and Grammy.

Kilgore Falls

I had a free Saturday morning over the weekend and the weather was absolutely perfect. 

Bleaker and I decided to get some fresh air. 

Pylesville, Maryland houses Kilgore Falls, a part of Rocks State Park.

WOW

We went for the music. A festival called "Sun and Bass", it was the most intimate music festival I've ever experienced. Every one I came in contact with on the island was super friendly, and super attractive!! Maybe it was the mix of nationalities, maybe it was the high  level of confidence, I'm not sure. But, there were A LOT of pretty people there. 

We stayed in a quaint seaside villa...

We passed by olive trees daily...

My friends drank the Italian wine....I drank the Italian limoncello (hot damn!)

I soaked in the Mediterranean Sea...

We danced until our calves burned...and then we danced some more

On the last day Jawney and I went hiking...

I found fig trees...

And cacti as far as you could see...

I fell in love with Italy.

DE Beach

A much needed vacation occurred this past week. A friend invited me to her traditional beach location in Dewey, Delaware and it was perfect. The hotel, the beach, the energy, all of it. We both got to bring our pups along. We had all we needed!

Most of our time was spent...where else?! Starring blissfully out into the ocean, allowing our ginger skin to get it's first proper exposure of the summer. We did take a half day in Rehoboth to shop a little and people watch.

Recently the cold, snowy weather just won't quit here in Bmore.

Needless to say, Bleaker and I still need our fresh air.

So, I dusted off the Canon this week and we walked the block.
